Terms of Service
Terms of Service
The short version
- You rent a physical Mac mini in California that is yours alone. You can rent several at once.
- Per Mac: $169 monthly, $481.65 quarterly (5% off), $912.60 half-yearly (10% off), $1,723.80 yearly (15% off). Plans renew automatically, and billing starts on payment.
- Usually delivered within 24 hours. Not delivered within 3 business days? Full refund. Monthly, quarterly and half-yearly renewals can be turned off anytime; yearly plans can't be cancelled or refunded during the year.
- Under Apple's macOS license, the Mac may be used only for software development and testing.
1. Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Kraft Engineering Corp ("we", "us"), for the wodeMac service. By signing in, ordering or using the service, you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use wodeMac for a company, you confirm you can accept these terms on its behalf.
2. The service
- A physical Mac mini hosted in California, USA, rented to you alone and never split or shared. The configuration shown at checkout applies.
- Common software preinstalled, with an admin account and remote access at delivery.
- We run and repair the power, network and hardware.
- A customer can rent several Macs at once; each is a separate whole machine.
3. Your account
You sign in with a Google account. Keep your details accurate and keep your account and the Mac passwords we hand over secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized use.
4. Prices, payment and automatic renewal
- Prices (USD): monthly $169; quarterly $481.65 paid upfront for 3 months; half-yearly $912.60 paid upfront for 6 months; yearly $1,723.80 paid upfront for 12 months. These prices are per Mac. Yearly orders of 5 or more get a further 2.5% off the first year; renewals are at the yearly price.
- Payment: you pay the first period at checkout through Stripe. We never handle your full card details.
- Billing period: starts on the day you pay. Usually delivered within 24 hours, and within 3 business days at the latest.
- Automatic renewal: at the end of each period, Stripe charges the next period on the same plan until you turn renewal off.
- Failed renewal: we hold your Mac for 7 days. If you pay within that time, billing continues from the original renewal date; otherwise service stops.
- Price changes: apply only to future periods, with advance notice. Periods already paid are not affected.
5. Delivery
We usually deliver within 24 hours of payment, and within 3 business days at the latest. If we don't, you get a full refund. Delivery progress and first sign-in details appear on your billing page.
6. Cancellation and refunds
- Monthly: turn off renewal anytime; service ends with the current period.
- Quarterly and half-yearly: turn off the next renewal anytime; service continues to the end of the paid term.
- Yearly: paid upfront for 12 months and cannot be cancelled or refunded during the year; you can turn off renewal for the following year.
- Apart from the delivery refund in section 5 or where the law requires otherwise, started billing periods are not refunded pro rata.
- Orders awaiting payment can be cancelled in your account at no charge.
7. Acceptable use
Apple's macOS license limits leased Macs to software development and testing, such as coding agents writing code, running builds and tests, or running developer tools. You may not use the Mac to:
- break the law or infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy or other rights;
- send spam, phish, distribute malware, or attack or scan other systems;
- mine cryptocurrency or otherwise abuse the hosting network with heavy load;
- sublet or resell it to anyone else;
- bypass the security measures or usage limits of our service or any third-party service.
Third-party services you use on the Mac, such as Claude Code, Codex or GitHub, use your own accounts, and you must follow their terms, including the regions they support. A California host location does not by itself make you eligible for those services.
8. Admin access and your data
- You get the admin account. We and our hosting provider keep administrative access for maintenance and repairs and can reach the Mac through remote administration tools.
- Your data on the Mac belongs to you, and you are responsible for backing it up.
- When service ends, we keep the Mac for 3 days, then erase it completely and take it back. Erased data cannot be recovered.
9. Availability
We work to keep your Mac online around the clock but do not guarantee a specific uptime. Maintenance, hardware faults, network outages or events beyond our control may interrupt service. Remote screen performance depends on your connection to California.
10. Referral program
Referral commissions follow the rules in effect when an order is placed and accrue only after payment is verified. Commissions are settled offline; there are no automatic payouts. Refunded orders void their commission. The commission depends on the plan of a customer's first order: 15% yearly, 10% half-yearly, 7.5% quarterly, 5% monthly. Renewals do not earn. Commissions are reconciled monthly. The program has one tier: the commission goes to the referrer who made the sale, and referring other partners earns nothing. Joining is free, and commission comes only from real payments. Promotions must be labeled as ads, disclose the commission, reflect real experience, and make no promises we have not confirmed. We may change the rules for future orders.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end the service if you break these terms, especially section 7, or if your use creates security or legal risk for us, our hosting provider or others. Where practical, we will tell you first. No refund is due for termination caused by a breach.
12. Disclaimer
To the fullest extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including lost data, lost profits or business interruption. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you actually paid us for the service in the 3 months before the claim arose.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts in Orange County, California.
15. Changes
We may update these terms. We'll give advance notice of material changes on the site or by email. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept it. Prices for periods already paid are not affected.
